In what promises to be a packed summer of cricket in England next year, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced that both the Indian men’s and women’s cricket teams will tour the country in 2026 for a series of white-ball matches.
The men’s tour starts with a five-match T20I series, kicking off in Durham on July 1. The T20 matches will continue in Manchester (July 4), Nottingham (July 7), and Bristol (July 9), and end in Southampton (July 11). Following the T20s, India’s men will play a three-match ODI series. The matches are scheduled for Birmingham (July 14), Cardiff (July 16), and the final ODI at the famous Lord’s on July 19.
The Indian women’s team will also tour England in 2026. Their series will start with three ODI matches — the first in Chelmsford on May 28, the second in Bristol on May 30, and the third in Taunton on June 2. After the ODIs, they will play a one-off Test match at Lord’s, a historic venue in cricket.
Before India arrives, England’s women will begin their season with a six-match limited-overs series against New Zealand. This includes three ODIs and three T20Is, starting May 10 in Durham. After India’s tour, the England women’s team will play three ODI matches against Ireland in September. Before that, they will get ready for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, which will take place in England from June 12 to July 15.
The England men’s team will start their home season with three Test matches against New Zealand in June. After India’s tour in July, Pakistan will visit England for a three-match Test series starting on August 19. The summer ends with a white-ball series against Sri Lanka, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs starting September 15.
