Indian Fast Bowler Akash Deep Ties the Knot with Akshita Raj; Wedding Photos Go Viral

New Delhi: Indian cricketer Akash Deep married Akshita Raj on Wednesday. The wedding took place at a five-star hotel in Varanasi, which was attended by numerous cricketers and famous celebrities. The first photo from the wedding has surfaced and is going viral on social media.

Who attended the wedding?

Akash Deep's wedding was attended by many prominent celebrities. Famous Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh attended the wedding and congratulated the newlyweds on stage. Cricketer Mukesh Kumar,  who is a good friend of Akash, also attended the marriage ceremony of the Indian fast bowler. Both were recently appointed DSPs by the Bihar government under the sports quota.

Akash Deep's wife, Akshita Raj, is from Manikpur in the Rohtas district of Bihar. Akash and Akshita are getting married with the consent of their families. Akshita holds a BCA and MCA degree from the Birla Institute of Technology.

Akash Deep has only made his Test debut for India. He made his debut in England in February 2024. He has played 10 Tests for India, taking 28 wickets in 18 innings. He also has 169 wickets in 49 first-class matches and 59 wickets in 53 T20 matches.
