Colombo: India overpowered Pakistan by 61 runs in a rather one-sided Group A match of the T20 World Cup on Sunday. Batting first in a one-sided match at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India scored 175 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. In response, Pakistan lost wickets at regular intervals and could only manage 114 runs in 18 overs. Jasprit Hardik, Varun, Bumrah, and Axar Patel took two wickets each for India. With this win, India qualified for the Super 8 stage.
