Ahmedabad: The T20 World Cup 2026 Super Eight match between India and South Africa is being played in  Ahmedabad on Sunday. South Africa won the toss and elected to bat first. South Africa captain Aiden Markram announced during the toss that the team has made four changes to the playing XI for the match against India. Suryakumar Yadav stated that the Indian team will play unchanged. However, Axar Patel has once again been left out of the team after the Netherlands match.

Indian vice-captain Axar Patel has been ruled out for the second consecutive match. Washington Sundar has replaced Axar Patel in both matches. Captain Aiden Markram has made four changes for the ICC T20 World Cup Super Eight match against India. Keshav Maharaj, Lungi Ngidi, Marco Jansen, and David Miller return for this match.

Indian T20 team vice-captain Axar Patel has been in excellent form with the ball in the T20 World Cup. Axar has played three matches and taken six wickets.
