Mumbai: After mysteriously disappearing, the Indian cricketer Virat Kohli's Instagram account was been restored back on Friday. The social media account of the cricketer went blank, showing no posts, no followers, no following and with the message that "This page isn't available", "User not found" or "The link may be broken."
On Thursday night, many people were searching the Instagram account of the 37-year-old cricketer, but the profile which has 274 million followers and about 1,000 posts went missing due to unkown reasons.
Regarding the disappearance of the account or the glitch, there has been no official comment from Virat Kohli or his team or Instagram till now.
Not only did Virat's account disapper but his brother Vikas Kohli's account also went missing and showed the message that "This page isn't available".
While the Virat's account reappeared in the Friday morning, Vikas's account is still not active.
Many people considered it that Virat Kohli has deactivated his account and want to distance himself from the social media due to personal reasons and many thought that it might be because of some technical glitch.
After the disappearance of the Instagram account of Kohli, the discussion regarding this intensified in the fans, many took to their X account and other platforms to express their concerns.
Even some fans started commenting on the actress Anushka Sharma's account, saying "What happen to Kohli's account", "Bhabhi, bhaiya ka account kahan gaya", "Bhabhii.... Bhayya nahi milra insta pe... Thoda bula lijiye."
Kohli's Instagram account has been one of the most followed cricketer accounts in the world. There are about lakhs of likes and thousands of comments on his every post. In such a situation, sudden disappearance of the account was not a normal thing for the fans. For this reason this news spread rapidly on social media.
