Delhi Bus Accident: Two Killed as Bus Overturns Near Jhandewalan Temple

New Delhi: A very painful accident happened last night in Karol Bagh, Delhi. A double decker sleeper bus suddenly went out of control and overturned near Jhandewalan Hanuman Temple. Two people died and 23 passengers were injured in this accident.

This incident happened at around 1 am on the night of 25 March 2026. The bus was coming to Delhi from Jaipur (Rajasthan) and overturned near Jhandewalan Temple Chowk. At that time, preparations for Navratri were going on in the temple, so the area was a bit lively. Hearing the loud sound of the accident, the people nearby were also shocked.

How many passengers were there in the bus?

There were a total of 25 passengers in the bus. The bus overturned as soon as the driver lost control. The people sitting inside were badly trapped. The bus was badly damaged. seats were broken, glass was shattered and wheels were taken out.
