Several Roads Closed in Delhi Due to AI Impact Summit, Check Traffic Diversions

New Delhi: The traffic condition in Delhi is going to be a bit difficult today on Saturday (21 February 2026). Due to the last day of the India AI Impact Summit 2026 going on at Bharat Mandapam, Delhi Traffic Police has imposed route diversions and restrictions on many routes. In view of the VVIP movement and the crowd of thousands of people, the police have made special arrangements from 9 am to 8 pm so that there is no jam and everyone remains safe.

Why are these traffic restrictions imposed today?

This is the final day of AI Impact Summit. Delegates, tech experts and VVIPs from India and abroad are coming to Bharat Mandapam (Pragati Maidan). There is a possibility of jam in Central Delhi due to heavy footfall and movement of vehicles. Therefore, the police has implemented a special traffic plan from 9 am to 8 pm – so that the traffic remains smooth and public safety is maintained.

• Purana Qila Road
• Mathura Road

These roads are around Bharat Mandapam, so people passing through them may get stuck in traffic jams. Police have said to avoid these routes as far as possible.
