New Delhi: Significant information has emerged regarding protesters from the 'Cockroach Janata Party' (CJP) demonstrating at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. According to a report in an English newspaper, some of the protesters associated with CJP were found using an app that allows messages to be sent and received without an internet connection.
Reports indicate that the Delhi Police have identified a suspicious app being used by the protesters. It is a Bluetooth-based communication app that functions without internet connectivity. However, the Delhi Police have not confirmed the specific name of the app.
This has drawn attention to the nature of the app that enables message exchange without the internet—eliminating the need for mobile data, Wi-Fi, or cellular networks.
While messaging apps like WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal rely on mobile data or Wi-Fi, offline messaging apps utilize Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)—a wireless technology found in all modern smartphones.
