New Delhi: The incident of assault and misbehavior with a family last week in East Delhi's Laxmi Nagar has shocked the entire area. The woman who was attacked says that this incident has mentally broken her entire family. This shock is unbearable, especially for his son.
The 50-year-old woman said that her husband and son were brutally beaten openly. She says her son was humiliated in front of people, stripped, and beaten badly. All this happened just 10 days before his wedding. According to the woman, after this incident, her son was in shock and left the house and went somewhere. He is not even picking up anyone's phone.
The victim alleged that she was also molested during the assault. She said that the attackers pulled her hair, abused her, and touched her body inappropriately. Due to the push, she fell on the ground, after which she was kicked, punched, and slapped. The woman says that this experience was extremely humiliating and scary for her.
According to the family, the dispute was over the ownership rights of a gym running in the basement of the building. The victim's family lives on the ground floor of the same building and they claim that the basement is theirs, where they started a gym in 2016. At the same time, she had appointed a person named Satish Yadav, alias Pintu, as the caretaker of the gym, who later allegedly took over the gym.
The woman alleges that Pintu is a local bully and is protected by Omkar Yadav, who claims to be a political leader of the area. According to the victim, these same people were present at the spot at the time of the attack. She also says that these people often spread terror in the area and have even resorted to aerial firing to scare people.
Family members said that after the incident, the movement of media and police increased, due to which the elder son of the family and his wife also left the house due to fear. At present the family is scattered and feeling unsafe.
The CCTV video of this incident has created both anger and fear among the people. The question is how such violence took place in broad daylight in the capital and whether the victim's family will be able to get justice on time.
