Man Dies After Club Brawl; Manager, Wife Among Five Arrested

New Delhi: A dispute that began inside a club in Delhi’s Sarai Rohilla area turned into a serious criminal case following the death of a 29-year-old man, Daljeet. He allegedly died after being assaulted during an argument that reportedly started over spilled alcohol. Police have arrested five people in connection with the incident, including the club manager, his wife and three bouncers. A case of murder has been registered at Sarai Rohilla Police Station, and an investigation is underway.

According to information provided by the police, the incident took place during the intervening night of October 10 and 11, 2026. A party was underway at a club in the Sarai Rohilla area. The club manager was present there with his wife and friends. Daljeet had also arrived at the club with six or seven of his friends. During the party, a dispute reportedly broke out after alcohol was spilled on the club manager’s wife. What began as a minor argument soon escalated into a physical altercation.

Argument Escalates into Physical Assault

The allegation is that the bouncers stationed at the club assaulted Daljeet and his friends during the dispute. After the incident, Daljeet returned home. Once home, he vomited and then went to sleep. His family may not have realised at the time how serious the incident that had occurred during the night could be.

The following day, when Daljeet did not wake up for a considerable period, his wife took him to the hospital. Doctors declared him dead on arrival. The incident subsequently took a serious turn, prompting police to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

Club Manager and His Wife Among Those Arrested

Police have arrested a total of five people in connection with the case. Those arrested include the club manager, his wife and three bouncers. The arrested individuals comprise four men and one woman.

Police have registered a murder case at Sarai Rohilla Police Station. The authorities are currently investigating the circumstances that led to the incident and the roles allegedly played by those involved in the assault.
