Mourning in BJP Leader Dilip Ghosh’s Family After Mysterious Death of Stepson

West Bengal News:The death of Shrinjay Dasgupta (27), son of Rinku Majumdar, wife of senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dilip Ghosh, under suspicious circumstances has created a sensation in the political corridors of West Bengal and the Newtown area. Many questions are being raised about this incident that happened on Monday night, and the police have started investigating the matter in depth.

The body was found in an unconscious state

Srinjay Dasgupta was found unconscious in his flat in Newtown at around 7 am on Tuesday. The family first took him to a private hospital in Newtown, from where he was referred to Bidhannagar Upazila Hospital when his condition became critical. There the doctors declared him dead.

The body was found lying on the bed

According to the police, Shrinjay's body was found in the room where he lived alone. The door was locked from inside and the body was lying directly on the bed. There are no signs of any force or fight in the room. At present, the situation is not clear about the cause of death. The body has been sent to R.G. Kar Hospital for post-mortem.

Accident happened after the party?

Locals claim that a small party was going on in that flat on Monday night. Some young guests were also seen, but it is not clear whether Shrinjay's death has any connection with this party or not. Police is also investigating whether this accident happened due to any intoxicant or external influence.

Family did not give any complaint

So far no formal police complaint has been lodged by the family of the deceased. Neither Dilip Ghosh nor Rinku Majumdar have given any statement to the media. Since Shrinjay was from Rinku Majumdar's first marriage, his family relationship with Dilip Ghosh was formal.

Mystery will be revealed by postmortem report

Police officials said that nothing suspicious has been found in the preliminary investigation, but the real cause of death will be clear only after the postmortem report comes. A team of doctors is working on this report and its information is expected to come out by Wednesday.

After the news of Shrinjay's death came out, political circles are also abuzz. Many leaders have expressed condolences over the incident, but since the matter is private and under investigation, most people are refraining from commenting.
