DAV Ratia Students Portray Maharaja Agrasen’s Ideals Through Art

Haryana: A painting competition was organised at DAV Public School, Ratia, by the Aggarwal Vaishya Samaj, Haryana, on the auspicious occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti.

The objective of the competition was to create awareness among students about the life and ideals of Maharaja Agrasen, as well as his principle of “One Brick, One Rupee.” Students from Classes 6 to 10 of DAV Public School, Ratia, participated enthusiastically in the competition.

The competition was organised for students in the 11–18 age group. Participants showcased their creativity by depicting the life, character and ideals of Maharaja Agrasen through their paintings.

Ratia Assembly unit president Lavkesh Mittal, co-patron Dr Janak Raj Goyal, and DAV Public School, Ratia principal Monika Khanna were present as observers and encouraged the students. They appreciated the creativity of the participants and motivated them to incorporate the values and ideals of Maharaja Agrasen into their lives.

School Principal Monika Khanna said that such competitions help develop artistic skills among students while also fostering a spirit of social harmony, philanthropy, cooperation and moral values.

She said that DAV School students always participate enthusiastically in various competitions and had also shown great enthusiasm in the competition based on the life and teachings of Maharaja Agrasen. She extended her best wishes to all the participating students.
