Sadar Ratia Police Action: Main Supplier Arrested in 8.08-Gram Heroin Case

As part of the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking, Sadar Ratia Police have arrested the main supplier in a case involving the recovery of 8.08 grams of heroin.

Haryana: As part of the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking, Sadar Ratia Police have arrested the main supplier in a case involving the recovery of 8.08 grams of heroin. The accused has been identified as Butta Singh alias Ravi, son of Om Prakash, a resident of Dhani Kilchian in Firozpur, Punjab. The accused will be produced before the court. Police had earlier arrested three accused in connection with the case.

What did Sub-Inspector Sheeshpal Singh say on the matter?

Sadar Ratia Police Station in-charge Sub-Inspector Sheeshpal Singh said that on April 29, a police team was patrolling the Sukchain Canal area on the Lalwas-Dadupur Road. During the patrol, two motorcycle-borne men, Gurvinder Singh alias Gindi and Vikramjit alias Vicky, both residents of Alika, were apprehended and searched as per procedure. During the search, 8.08 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession.

In this connection, a case was registered at Sadar Ratia Police Station under FIR No. 86 dated April 30, 2026, under Sections 21(b), 27A, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act. During the investigation, after the involvement of other accused linked to the drug supply network came to light, the police proceeded with further action and arrested the main supplier.

The accused is being questioned about the drug supply network, and further investigation into the case is underway.
