Ahead of the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, political tensions are heating up. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during a public rally in Siwan, launched a sharp attack on Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav. In response, Lalu took to social media to hit back with a sarcastic remark.

Soon after the Prime Minister's rally, Lalu posted an AI-generated video on the platform X (formerly Twitter), which featured edited clips of PM Modi and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Along with it, Lalu wrote, “Weather alert for Bihar – heavy showers of lies, fake promises, and illusions today. Beware of the thunderstorm of misleading claims and deceitful speeches.”

Modi Targets Lalu Over Ambedkar Video

During his speech, PM Modi referred to a viral clip showing Lalu’s feet near Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s photograph during an event on Ambedkar Jayanti. The Prime Minister said, “The entire country saw how RJD disrespected Babasaheb’s image. These people don't care about Dalits and backward classes, thus they will never apologise.

He added that, unlike the opposition, he carries Ambedkar's vision in his heart, while they, symbolically, keep it beneath their feet.

Modi Blames RJD-Congress for Bihar’s Problems

Bihar's underdevelopment was attributed by PM Modi to the RJD and Congress. He said that the state experienced corruption, lawlessness, and poverty as a result of their rule. “They introduced Jungle Raj and now want to repeat history. For your children's future, be cautious,” he urged the people.

Attack on Dynastic Politics

Taking a jibe at dynastic politics, PM Modi said, “Their politics revolves around one family. They sacrifice the interests of Bihar’s people to protect their own legacy.” He reminded voters that Dr. Ambedkar opposed such political practices and stressed that Bihar needs progress, not family-centric leadership.
