Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann strongly criticized previous Congress and Akali governments. He said they deliberately kept poor people away from education. Speaking on Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary, Mann highlighted his contribution. He called Ambedkar a global leader and a champion of equality. He said the Constitution reflects his vision. Mann urged people to follow his path. He stressed equal rights in social, economic and political fields.
Mann said his government is focusing on education and empowerment. He stressed that education is the key to ending poverty. He criticized earlier policies that ignored quality education. According to him, welfare must focus on dignity. The government aims to create long-term impact.
The government has launched a financial support scheme for women. Under this, women will receive monthly assistance. SC women will get Rs 1500 and others Rs 1000. The amount will go directly to bank accounts. Mann said most women in Punjab will benefit.
Mann responded to critics questioning the scheme. He said such people do not understand the value of money for the poor. He pointed out the difference between common people and elite lifestyles. He defended the scheme as meaningful support. He said it would help families directly.
The Chief Minister encouraged women to take part in all sectors. He stressed their role in society and governance. He said women should enter politics and decision-making. According to him, this is necessary for an equal society. The government wants to support this change.
