Jaipur: Conditions remain entirely favorable for the advancement of the Southwest Monsoon in Rajasthan. The impact of the changing weather is already visible across the state, with clouds covering most districts. Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms has been recorded in several parts of the state over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a special warning for several districts of the state for June 25, 2026.

Likelihood of rain in which districts on June 25?

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, a 'Yellow Alert' has been issued for a total of 25 districts in Rajasthan for June 25, 2026. These districts are expected to experience thunderstorms, lightning strikes, and gusty winds blowing at speeds of 40 to 60 kmph. There is a strong possibility of dust storms.

Rainfall in which districts of Eastern and Western Rajasthan?

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) Jaipur, rainfall is expected in the districts of Eastern Rajasthan. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Baran, Beawar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, and Karauli. Similarly, a strong possibility of rainfall has been noted in 10 districts of Western Rajasthan: Bikaner, Churu, Didwana-Kuchaman, Hanumangarh, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Nagaur, Pali, Phalodi, and Sri Ganganagar.

Will Monsoon arrive in last week of June?

According to the Meteorological Department, the northern limit of the monsoon is currently passing through Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Bihar. Rainfall activity is expected to intensify in parts of Eastern Rajasthan during the final days of June, while a spell of heavy rainfall is highly likely to commence across most parts of the state from the first week of July. The department has advised people in the alert zones to stay in safe locations during storms and lightning activity.
