Meerut: Senior BJP leader, former minister, and founder of the National Parshuram Council, Sunil Bharala, is scheduled to visit the residence of Surya Pratap Chauhan in Ghaziabad at 2 pm on Monday in connection with the high-profile Surya Chauhan murder case.
During his visit, Bharala will meet the bereaved family members, offer his condolences, and express solidarity with them during this difficult time.
Speaking on the incident, Bharala said that the brutal murder of Surya Chauhan has shaken the entire society and raised serious concerns. He described the incident as deeply tragic and disturbing.
He further stated that the National Parshuram Council and every member of the community stand firmly with the victim's family and will continue to support them in their quest for justice.
Days after the stabbing of 17-year-old Surya Pratap Chauhan sparked outrage and protests in Ghaziabad, the main accused in the case, Asad, was shot dead in a late-night police encounter on Saturday.
Surya Chauhan was allegedly stabbed by Asad and his aides in Ghaziabad's Khoda area on May 28, the day of Bakrid.
The incident triggered widespread anger among residents, with family members of the victim and several Hindu organisations staging protests and demanding the immediate arrest and encounter of those involved.
