He was also welcomed by women from the Goswami family, who have been raising their voice against the Banke Bihari Corridor and the temple trust. He was honored with a scarf and presented with a portrait of Lord Banke Bihari.

Addressing the reception, Alankar Agnihotri stated that he is conducting a public awareness campaign on three key issues. He alleged that UGC regulations are creating a sense of division in the country. He also raised the issue of misuse of the SC/ST Act, saying that innocent people are being implicated in many cases. He informed the gathering that he has released an email address to help victims of fraudulent SC/ST Act cases find justice. More than 40 complaints have been received on this email address, which was released on Thursday. He claimed that in some cases, undue pressure is being exerted on officials. He cited the example of an upper caste woman officer in Bihar who was suspended twice and pressured into compromise.

What he said about the Banke Bihari Corridor?

Referring to the Banke Bihari Corridor, he said that the traditions here have been established over the years by Goswamis, priests, and sevadars. He stated that this institution originated from religious patronage, and that it is society's responsibility to preserve its original structure. He alleged that the government's policies are contrary to Sanatan culture and that attempts are being made to change the traditional system of religious sites.
