On the sixth day of Navratri, the temple premises were beautifully decorated for the special worship of Maa Katyayani. The traditional Kanjeevaram saree from South India was the main highlight of the goddess's adornment. According to the temple's chief priest, Kamal Tiwari, artisans took around one month to prepare the saree especially for the goddess. Featuring traditional artistry and intricate craftsmanship, the saree added to the beauty of the goddess's divine appearance. Devotees showed great enthusiasm as they gathered to admire the flower-decorated shrine and seek the goddess's blessings. They performed rituals and prayers according to tradition and wished for happiness and prosperity for their families.
Chief priest Kamal Tiwari explained that the sixth day of Navratri is dedicated to the worship of Maa Katyayani. According to religious beliefs, during the Dwapar Yuga, the Gopis of Braj worshipped Maa Katyayani to seek Lord Krishna as their husband. This belief gives special significance to the worship of Maa Katyayani in the Braj region.
Various delicacies were offered to the goddess as bhog during the celebrations. The temple also observed the Tirobhav Mahotsav of its founder, Siddha Saint Keshavanand Maharaj. Devotees offered prayers to his statue, paid their respects and remembered his spiritual contributions.
