Noida DM Office Receives Bomb Threat Email; Security Agencies Launch Search

Noida: The Gautam Buddha Nagar District Magistrate's (DM) office received a bomb threat via email on Monday, sending shockwaves through the administration and police. Following this, a team of bomb disposal squad and dog squad arrived at the scene and conducted a thorough search. However, nothing suspicious has been found yet. The investigation is currently ongoing.

Where did the incident happen?

The District Magistrate's (DM) office in Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, received a bomb threat email, prompting police to immediately activate security agencies and conduct a thorough search of the entire premises. According to the police, on Monday, the District Magistrate's office received a bomb threat message via email. Upon receiving the information, Surajpur police immediately arrived at the scene and, in accordance with security protocols, called in the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS), the fire brigade, the anti-sabotage (AS) team, and the dog squad to thoroughly search the entire premises.

What did the police say?

The police stated that no adverse information has come to light so far. Constant vigilance is being maintained. The cyber team is conducting a technical investigation into the email with utmost care and seriousness. The situation is completely normal, and peace has been established at the scene. 

According to the police, the matter has been taken seriously after receiving the threatening email. Police are also investigating whether the threat is the work of a mischievous individual or whether there is some other motive behind it.
