Noida: After a two-decade wait, the Noida International Airport (Jewar Airport) is finally ready. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate its first phase on Saturday. Commercial flights are expected to begin within a few weeks of the inauguration.
Although the airline has not yet announced an official schedule, media reports suggest direct flights to approximately 10 major cities could begin within 45 days of the inauguration. Travelers are advised to wait for the official booking window to open.
Initial connectivity may begin with these 10 cities. The first phase will focus on high-demand metro cities. According to reports, direct flights may start to cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Goa and Jaipur.
These routes will prove to be a new convenience for the passengers of NCR, especially they will provide relief from the congestion at Delhi Airport.
