Noida Woman Dies by Suicide After Jumping from Sector 18 Multi-Level Parking; Police Suspect Depression

Noida: A woman allegedly died by suicide after jumping from a multi-level car parking facility in Noida's Sector 18 area on Saturday night. Upon receiving information about the incident, local police and forensic teams arrived at the scene. Police are investigating the case from all angles.

What is the reason of suicide?

The deceased, who has been identified as Seetu Talwar, was struggling with depression for a long time, according to the police, who contacted her family.

Upon seeing the woman's body, those in the parking lot called the police. This area falls under the jurisdiction of Sector 20, Noida. The police have sent the body for a post-mortem. Only after the post-mortem report is released will it be known how and under what circumstances the woman died. 

Who is the woman and how did she reach the multi-level parking?

A 50-year-old woman died after allegedly jumping from the second floor of a multi-level parking lot in Noida's Sector 18 on Saturday, police said.  According to a preliminary police investigation, she had been suffering from depression for nearly 20 years.

Police said the woman had taken an e-rickshaw to reach the multi-level parking lot. After reaching the parking lot, she went to the second floor and allegedly jumped, resulting in fatal injuries. A police team arrived at the scene and sent the body for a post-mortem examination. 

Police said the case is under investigation. Preliminary investigations suggest the woman committed suicide, though all aspects are being investigated.
