Lucknow: The Samajwadi Party has increased its focus on women regarding Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections 2027. Party President Akhilesh Yadav and MP Dimple Yadav made several big announcements for women in a programme organised at the SP office in Lucknow on Wednesday. Akhilesh Yadav said that if SP government is formed in the state, women will be given financial assistance of Rs 40 thousand every year. Along with this, it was also promised to start schemes like giving laptops to 12th-pass girl students and free bus travel for women.
