Apple's Most Expensive iPhone Pre-Orders Begin Today: Get Discounts of Up to Rs 81,500

New Delhi: Pre-booking of Apple's first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, in India is going to start today, October 16. Customers will be able to book the phone through the company's official website and Apple Store app from 5:30 pm onwards. Its official sale will start from October 23. 

This phone, presented at the 'Surprise and Shine' event, comes with a book-style foldable design, two displays and A20 Pro chip. The company has introduced it in Star White and Night Sky colours. The starting price of this premium segment phone has been kept at Rs 2,99,900.

When and where will pre-booking take place?

Pre-booking of the phone will start on October 16 at 5:30 pm. Customers can book it through Apple's official website and Apple Store app. Its sale will start from October 23. After this the phone will be available online and at select partner stores. 

How much exchange discount will be available on old iPhone?

Customers can get a discount off the price of their new phone when they exchange an eligible iPhone 13 or newer model under Apple's trade-in programme. According to the company, the exchange amount will depend on the model of the old device and its condition. 

What are the special features of iPhone Duo?

iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch internal foldable screen and a 5.4-inch external screen. It has A20 Pro chip, a 48MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide camera. The phone runs on iOS 27 and features like Split View for multitasking have been provided in it. 

The phone also has a dual-battery system and IP68 rating. Its design has been designed in such a way that opening the phone provides convenience in watching videos on the big screen, playing games and using multiple apps simultaneously.

Pre-booking of iPhone Duo will start from 5:30 pm today and the sale will start from October 23. With a starting price of ₹2,99,900, this is Apple's premium foldable option.
