iPhone 17 Launched: Finally the much awaited iPhone 17 series has been launched by Apple with awe dropping features. Apple launched iPhone 17 series on September 9. Apple latest iPhone 17 series includes iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Excitingly, several new features have been introduced in the latest iPhone 17 series. Notably, iPhone 17 series has marked a new price record in India. The top variant of 2TB variant of the iPhone 17 Pro Max priced at Rs 2,29,900. Therefore, this is the first iPhone to cross Rs 2 lakh mark.

This makes the price of iPhone much higher than the previous models. Meanwhile, the starting price of the 256GB version of the iPhone 15 Pro Max was Rs 1,59,900, while the 1TB version was priced at Rs 1,99,900, a little less than Rs 2 lakh. At the same time, the 1TB version of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, launched last year, was priced at Rs 1,84,900.

iPhone 17 Pro Price

• iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are available in three new colour options Deep Blue, Cosmic Orange and Silver.
• The iPhone 17 Pro starts at Rs 134,900 and comes with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
• Pre-orders for the iPhone 17 Pro will start from September 12. At the same time, their availability will start from September 19.

New Features in the iPhone 17 Pro series

The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max come with Super Retina XDR displays (6.3-inch and 6.9-inch sizes), which are protected with Ceramic Shield 2 on both the front and back. As per Apple this offers three times better scratch resistance and four times better crack resistance. The displays also feature ProMotion up to 120Hz and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits.

The new iPhone 17 Pro series is equipped with a new design, advanced camera system and new A19 Pro chip, which Apple claims delivers the best in performance and power efficiency. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max feature a new design with a brushed aluminum unibody and a vapor chamber designed by Apple for improved thermal performance.

Apple claims that the new design allows for a larger battery, which, combined with the efficiency of the A19 Pro, delivers the best battery life ever in an iPhone.

Both models support fast charging, and charge up to 50% in just 20 minutes with a 40W power adapter.

iPhone 17 Camera

The new model features a triple-camera system, which includes three 48MP Fusion cameras - main, ultra-wide, and telephoto. The new telephoto camera has a tetraprism design with a 56% larger sensor, providing 8x optical-quality zoom. This is the longest zoom ever offered on an iPhone.

The new Center Stage 18MP front camera offers a wider field of view and higher resolution, and also comes with a new feature that allows simultaneous recording from the front and rear cameras.
