OnePlus 15R Set for India Launch; OnePlus Pad Go 2 Also Arriving- Key Details Inside

New Delhi: OnePlus is preparing for its next flagship-grade smartphone. Soon the company will launch OnePlus 15R in the Indian market. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 tablet will also be launched in the same event. The microsites of both the products have gone live on the official stores of Amazon and OnePlus, due to which many of their important features have already been revealed.

When will OnePlus 15R arrive in India?

The company has made it clear that OnePlus 15R will be launched in India on December 17. The same date is also fixed for OnePlus Pad Go 2. After launch, both these devices will be available on Amazon, OnePlus website, retail partners and experience stores.

How will the display and performance be?

This time a bigger and smoother display can be seen in OnePlus 15R. The phone is expected to have a 6.83-inch AMOLED screen, which will have a 165Hz refresh rate. Talking about performance, the company has confirmed that Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset will be provided in it. This processor will come with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The phone will run on Android 16 based ColorOS 6, which is expected to provide faster and better software experience.

What new will be available in battery and charging?

OnePlus is going to provide such a big battery in this series for the first time. An 8,300mAh battery can be seen in 15R.
Despite this, the company is planning to provide 100W fast charging in this phone. This combination of big battery and fast charging may be very much liked by the users.

How will the camera setup be?

For photography, the phone can be provided with a 50MP main camera (with OIS) and 8MP ultrawide lens. It is expected to get 16MP front camera for selfie. OnePlus can also take some big steps regarding durability. Reports say that the phone may get IP66, IP68 or IP69K rating, although the company has not said it officially yet.

What will be the possible price of OnePlus 15R?

There is no official information regarding the price yet, but it is expected that the phone can be launched around ₹ 45,000. This price is about ₹ 3,000 more than the previous model OnePlus 13R. The final price will be revealed at the launch event on December 17.
