Social media platform X is down for the second consecutive day, users across the world are troubled

International News: If everything seems to be down again when you open X (formerly Twitter) today, then you are not alone. This is the second consecutive day when the X platform is down again. X is not working anywhere, be it the X app or the mobile site. This problem occurred yesterday as well, due to which users all over the world were facing problems like DMs, likes and notifications, and the situation is the same even today. Problems on X started on Thursday afternoon (EDT). Thousands of users complained that they were unable to send or open direct messages (DMs). The message "Something went wrong. Try reloading" was repeatedly coming. According to DownDetector's report, more than 6,000 outage reports were received in the US alone by 2 pm.

Users' displeasure

The upset users vented their anger on X and abused Elon Musk. One user wrote- "Elon Musk, please fix the app. Can't even open the messages, it's very bad." Another wrote- "Notifications are coming on DMs but no unread messages are visible." Another user wrote- "Messages, likes, nothing is working on X. Discord is better." With X down on Friday, users were facing issues not just with DMs, but also with notifications, likes, and retweets. Some users said that as soon as they like it, it gets deleted automatically and notifications are not coming.

Downdetector gave information about the data

According to tracking service Downdetector, there was a huge surge in complaints related to X around 6 pm on Saturday. More than 2,100 reports were registered on the platform at the peak of the outage. This time the glitches not only included loading posts but also problems like trouble in signing in and not receiving direct messages. This problem was seen on both desktop and mobile platforms.

No official statement has come yet

Despite such a big technical flaw, there has been no official response from the company. Since coming under the ownership of Elon Musk, technical problems are being seen frequently in X, and this is increasing the concern of the users. Many users shared their problems on social media and said that they are getting broken links, due to which neither the profiles nor the posts are opening. This has increased the anger of the users even more.
