Microsoft on Saturday released the new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build to the Dev and Beta Channels. It adds Ask Copilot right on the taskbar for one-click use of Copilot Vision and Voice. The firm also started testing a fresh Shared Audio tool in preview. This lets sound play on two devices at the same time.

The new Windows 11 Insider Preview Build brings the full-screen mode to more handheld gaming PCs. In a blog post, Microsoft stated it is sending Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.7051 (KB5067115) to the Dev and Beta Channels. Bug fixes and speed boosts come with the update, but the main part is the Ask Copilot button on the taskbar.

What does Ask Copilot do?

The big tech giant from Redmond said that it is a choice to turn on that gives fast reach to Copilot Vision and Voice. Users can talk to Copilot Vision in many various ways by text, voice, and step-by-step process to get the output. To start it, Windows 11 users go to Settings > Personalisation > Taskbar > Ask Copilot. The company stressed that Ask Copilot uses current Windows tools to find apps, files, and settings, and it cannot see the user's private data. It is totally privately protected.

How does full-screen mode work on gaming PCs?

With the release of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, Microsoft brought a new full-screen mode. The firm is now giving the same mode to other Windows 11 handheld gaming PCs too. It is said to give better app switching, faster work, and quick play. The preview is now on MSI Claw models and will reach more makers soon in coming times.

What is Shared Audio?

One more tool in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build is shared audio. It is a new part made with Bluetooth Low Energy Audio broadcast for Copilot+ PCs. Microsoft says it lets two people hear the same sound at once. To try this tool, open the Shared Audio (Preview) box in quick settings, pick the two linked items that work with it, and hit Share.
