New Delhi: In today's corporate environment, where work pressure and stress are common, a Delhi CEO has taken a step for his employees that has won the hearts of millions of people. For the occasion of Mother's Day, this businessman announced a gift of Rs 10,000 and three days of paid leaves to the employees to spend time with their parents. Now, people are appreciating this gesture and calling him the "Boss of the Year."
A Delhi-based CEO is currently making waves on social media. He has announced a special initiative for his company's employees on Mother's Day. Under this initiative, employees will receive a Rs 10,000 bonus and three days of extra paid leave to take their parents on a trip. This initiative was launched by Rajat Grover, founder and CEO of Delhi-based PR firm Elite Marque.
Rajat Grover shared an emotional post on Instagram, and wrote, "We keep saying 'one day' to the people who spent their whole lives saying 'yes' to us."
In the video, he further shared that parents devote their dreams, time, and effort to their children, but never ask for anything in return. Now is the time to ask them what it is they always wanted to do.
"Our parents gave us their time, dreams, energy, and years... without ever asking for anything back. Maybe it’s time we asked them one question: 'What’s something you always wanted to do?' And then quietly make it happen," he added.
In a video, Rajat Grover addressed his team, saying that before he founded the company, there was someone who woke up at 5 am, cooked, and took care of the house so he could fulfill his dreams. He told employees, "We don't know how much time we have with them. If there's a place they've always wanted to go, take them there now."
He then announced a reimbursement of Rs 10,000 and three days of paid leave for employees. Importantly, these holidays will not be deducted from their regular leave balance.
Rajat Grover's initiative is receiving widespread praise on social media. Many commented that this kind of thinking is rare in today's corporate world.
One user wrote, "I wish the whole world thought like this." Another added, "Such people are rare these days." Another added, "This isn't just a bonus, but a way to show love and respect for parents."
Why was this initiative started?
Rajat Grover said that this initiative isn't just about giving money. It's meant to inspire people to spend time with their parents. He said, "We get so busy with our work and lives that we forget to ask our parents if they have any unfulfilled wishes."
