Trending News: When India showed its might on the LOC after Operation Sindoor, the reality of Pakistan was on the ground, but the scripts of its channels were flying high. It seems as if Pakistani media has left reality and started shooting a comedy serial. The attitude of the drama queen type anchors and their “facts” are so imaginary that even a script writer would feel ashamed.

“70% India is in darkness!” – Anchor’s techno fiction

Now just pay attention to this viral clip – a Pakistani news anchor announces with great confidence (or say, self-deception) that their cyber hackers attacked India in such a way that 70% of the electricity went out and the whole country was plunged into darkness. The lady gives this statement in such a dramatic way that it seems as if the shooting of ‘Mission Impossible 8’ is happening in her own studio.

Her dialogue – “We did not know that we are so ahead in technology.” – It went so viral that people in India started asking from Twitter to Whatsapp, “Didi, what drug have you taken?”

Ceasefire or World Cup victory?

Not only this, Pakistani channels have also started showing the ceasefire as a trophy. As soon as India stopped the firing by maintaining diplomatic balance, Pakistani media started screaming, “We won!” Hey brother, just turn the pages of history – a war is won when the opponent surrenders, not when he does not want a war.

Drama to hide the bitter reality of ‘Operation Sindoor’

The fact is that Pakistan has been badly shaken by the echo of ‘Operation Sindoor’. India’s strategic and technical advantage on LOC has forced Pakistan to think on a military level. But to save its public from this shock, the media there has now become an acting school – as soon as the camera is switched on, someone becomes a superhero, someone a cyber warrior, and someone a box of lies.

Public reaction: Laughter, guffaws and taunts

As soon as this clip went viral in India, a flurry of witty comments started pouring in on social media. Someone wrote – “I will have to give a Filmfare award after seeing Didi’s acting.” While someone said – “This is not news, it is a scripted comedy show.”

Media running away from reality, rumours running rampant

These tricks of Pakistani media show how bitter the truth is and how interesting rumours are. When you want to hide the reality of the country, then increase the noise of lies – this is the formula currently being used in Pakistan.

But, the truth cannot be hidden. The effect of ‘Operation Sindoor’ was not only seen on the ground, but was also clearly visible in the panic of Pakistani media.
