A passionate Pokémon fan from Malaysia has reportedly sold his full card collection for an unbelievable price. The collector, Damiral Imran, became a viral name last week when he listed his entire Pokémon card set for sale at 1.87 million ringgit (around Rs 3.8 crore). According to a report from Malaysian English Language Newspaper, Imran has now confirmed that he has found a buyer who agreed to pay this huge amount.
In a Social Media post shared on Facebook, Imran proudly announced, “My Pokémon card collection officially SOLD for RM1,870,000.” Filled with excitement, he called the sale a historic moment, saying, “From a small room in Shah Alam to making history in the Pokémon world. This is more than a sale; it’s a story of passion, hard work, and legacy.” Along with his message, Imran posted several pictures showing his room filled with Pokémon cards stacked from floor to ceiling. The images quickly caught the attention of fans and collectors online.
Earlier, according to the Hong Kong-based English-language newspaper, it was reported that Imran’s card collection could be valued at over 2 million ringgit, based on data from a global card value tracker called Shiny. Each card in the collection was professionally authenticated and graded for its condition by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), a well-known US-based service that evaluates collectible cards.
Yes, Imran earlier mentioned that he was open to trading his collection for a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S plus extra cash. He had already received offers of around 1.68 million ringgit, but he decided to wait for a better deal. His patience finally paid off when a buyer agreed to his asking price, making it one of the most talked-about Pokémon card sales in Malaysia.
For Imran, this is more than a financial win—it marks a personal achievement. From collecting cards in a small room to sealing a multimillion-ringgit deal, his journey shows how dedication and passion can truly make history.
