Pranit More Issues Public Apology: ‘Please Give Me One Chance to Be Better’

Pranit said he wanted to apologize long ago but couldn’t because his Instagram account was suspended. He is now working on himself and his content.

New Delhi: Pranit More, a stand-up comedian, has apologized for the '370 ki Biryani' controversy. In the video, Pranit said that he was getting the backlash in public in the comments section of the post and admitted, "I think I deserve this hate" for the words he spoke in my show. He confessed his sin was that he did not stop Himanshu. After the audience laughed at Jangra's comment, he did not stand up against it, instead he laughed as well.

Pranit also added that he didn't interfere then. He admitted that he provided him a platform and made it escalate, namely Himanshu. He apologized to all who were affected by the incident. Pranit also has said that he is working with the authorities with respect to any legal proceedings in relation to the controversy.


In a public appeal, Pranit More requested to give him a second chance and promised to be a better person. He stated the incident was a learning experience and that he is currently working on himself and his content which will reflect in his future content, promising that it will be different. Pranit noted he wanted to apologize earlier but couldn’t as his Instagram account was suspended.

Himanshu Jangra had said this '370 rupees ki biryani' on Pranit More's show in Gurugram. A clip of the incident has gone viral. The crowd was seen enjoying Jangra's 'anti-dignity' offensive remark, which Pranit also seemed to be enjoying. .The incident got massive response on social media, Pranit was subjected to a lot of trolling. The Haryana DGP was directed to take action by the National Commission for Women (NCW). The NCW has called Both Pranit More And Himanshu Jangra for 22nd June.

Several social media influencers also weighed in on this controversy. Dolly Singh told comedians and content creators that they should maintain consistency between their public views and content. Meanwhile, Kusha Kapila urged women to speak up against such comments. She called it “not comedy but reaction-driven content” and said that wrong things should be openly challenged.
