Instead of forcing employees back to the office, she is removing many of the costs associated with coming to work.

Amanda Zhu, co-founder of Recall.ai, recently explained the strategy in a LinkedIn post. According to Zhu, the company covers multiple everyday expenses for employees so they can focus entirely on their work. So that the tension about the cost of commuting and meals could be overcome.

She noted that gasoline prices in San Francisco can reach $6 to $7 per gallon. To encourage the employees to come to the office five days a week, the company pays for fuel costs through company-issued cards.
