Actress Saba Azad has been hospitalised after being diagnosed with the parasite Cyclospora cayetanensis.

Saba Azad shared the news on Instagram of being hospitalised due to a stomach infection and said that Worst 14 days of my life.

Lost 4 kilograms

In the post, Saba Azad also revealed that she has lost 4 kilograms within two weeks due to the disease.

Wash vegetable with baking soda

The actress also advised people to wash salad leaves and vegetables like your life depends on it - because sometimes, it really does!! Saba shared a new method of ensuring the bug never reaches her stomach again, by using baking soda for washing the vegetables.

Saba also thanked boyfriend, Hrithik Roshan, for helping her recover and finding humour in the darnest situations.

Cyclospora cayetanensis is a protozoan parasite that causes cyclosporiasis, a diarrheal disease transmitted through contaminated food and water.
