Virat and Anushka have just made a big real estate move in Alibaug, boosting the coastal town’s celebrity appeal. The star couple has bought over five acres of land near Awas Beach in Alibaug for Rs 37.86 crore, according to property documents.

The Big Deal

The land purchase was officially registered on January 13, 2026, in Zirad village, Raigad district. The combined plots together measure roughly 21,010 square metres, about 5.2 acres.

Two Plots, One Price

The deal consists of two adjoining parcels. One is about 14,740 sq metres, and the other is 6,270 sq metres. All told, it added up to Rs 37.86 crore.

Formalities Completed

Documents show a stamp duty of approximately Rs 2.27 crore was paid to register the sale. The official filings list Sonali Amit Rajput as the seller, with Samira Land Assets Pvt Ltd as the confirming party.

Brother Steps In

The couple didn’t turn up at the registry office themselves. Virat’s brother, Vikas Kohli, completed the formalities on their behalf, according to property records.

Not Their First Here

This isn’t the first time the couple has invested in Alibaug. In 2022, they bought nearly eight acres nearby and built a luxurious vacation home.

Alibaug has become a hotspot for high-profile buyers. Other stars like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have also invested in premium properties in the region.
