Hanuman Jayanti Worship Rituals
On the day of Hanuman Jayanti, wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean clothes. Thereafter, with folded hands, take a solemn pledge to observe the fast and perform the worship. To begin the worship, first spread a red or white cloth over a wooden pedestal and place the idol of Lord Hanuman upon it. Next, light a ghee lamp in front of Lord Hanuman and offer Him red vermilion (sindoor), sandalwood paste, and jasmine oil.
