Nuwan Thushara – Royal Challengers Bangalore
The Sri Lanka Cricket Board has refused to grant Nuwan Thushara a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to participate in the IPL. He has approached the courts to challenge this decision. Thushara is not suffering from any injury issues; however, according to the Sri Lanka Board, he is being denied the NOC due to a failure to meet fitness standards.

Josh Inglis – Lucknow Super Giants
Lucknow Super Giants acquired Josh Inglis for ₹8.6 crore in the IPL 2026 auction. Due to his wedding, he has not yet arrived in India. His arrival date in India has also not yet been announced.

Mitchell Starc – Delhi Capitals
Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc is a member of the Delhi Capitals squad. He is currently recovering from shoulder and elbow injuries. For this reason, Starc has not yet arrived in India. However, this does not appear to be having any significant impact on the team.
