A section of the Padariya bridge over the Bakra River in Araria district collapsed on Monday, just days before its inauguration. Constructed for Rs 12 crores to connect Ararias Sikhti block with Kursakatta block, the same bridge had collapsed in 2020, causing 12 people to fall into the river.
