Maa Brahmacharini is considered the goddess of sacrifice and devotion, who performed rigorous penance to attain Lord Shiva. On this day, devotees perform special prayers and pray for mental peace and self-confidence.

What is the worship method of this day?

After waking up early in the morning and taking a bath, the place of worship is cleaned and purified with Ganga water. After this, the idol or picture of Maa Brahmacharini is installed on an altar. Taking water, Akshat and flowers in hand, a resolution is taken and the Maa Goddess is invoked while meditating on her. Worship is done by offering incense, lamp, sandalwood, roli and perfume and finally the worship is completed with Aarti.
