Spiritual News: Japan is currently gripped by the fear of an impending and unseen disaster. As 5 July 2025 draws near, anxiety and restlessness are spreading across the country. The root of this growing concern lies in a startling prediction made years ago by Japanese manga artist Ryo Tatsuki.
Tatsuki’s comic “The Future I Saw” foretells a major natural disaster expected on 5 July 2025. He predicted that a massive crack would open in the sea between Japan and the Philippines, triggering powerful earthquakes and a tsunami capable of swallowing entire cities.
Initially dismissed as fiction, Tatsuki’s prediction has started gaining attention after a worrying development. Over the past few days, around 500 tremors have been recorded in the Tokara Islands, according to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). Most of these tremors were recorded in the remote areas of Kagoshima Prefecture.
Though no major damage or casualties have been reported so far, the sheer number of earthquakes has sparked widespread panic. The hashtag #July5Prediction is trending across social media, and many people are now reconsidering or canceling travel plans to Japan.
Renowned marine volcano expert Yokose has raised serious concerns, warning that a magnitude 6 earthquake is possible in the coming days. He notes that the current seismic activity is unusual and may indicate a larger geological shift underway.
Yokose cautioned the public, saying the next week could be critical for the region, and advised continued vigilance and preparedness.
Ryo Tatsuki has earned the nickname “Japanese Baba Vanga” due to the accuracy of some of his past predictions. Events he allegedly foresaw in his work include:
With such a track record, many have begun to take his predictions more seriously, even if they stem from a fictional comic.
In his vision, Tatsuki described boiling seas, entire cities submerging, and a tsunami even more powerful than the one in 2011. While it remains a prediction—not a certainty—its eerie alignment with recent events has unsettled many in Japan.
Even scientific experts agree that ignoring the signs the Earth is giving could be dangerous. Preparedness is better than regret.
While it is impossible to confirm what will happen on 5 July, one thing is certain: awareness, scientific thinking, and precautionary measures are our best defense.
Whether Ryo Tatsuki’s prediction comes true or not, there is no harm in being cautious. After all, it's always better to prepare for the worst—even when hoping for the best.
