Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has reached an impressive achievement with 35 million units sold of its Activa scooter series, which includes the Activa 110, Activa 125, and Activa-i. This success shows how deeply the Activa connects with riders across the country, making it India’s most loved scooter. The milestone comes after 24 years since the model’s launch.
Since its debut in 2001, the Activa has been a key part of India’s two-wheeler journey, offering dependable and easy transportation for people from all walks of life. It has been a major contributor to HMSI’s growth, playing a strong role in shaping the brand’s position in the market. The Activa’s story reflects what Indian riders truly value—simplicity, reliability, fuel efficiency, and peace of mind. While staying true to these values, the scooter has constantly evolved. The brand crossed its first 10 million sales in 2015, then 20 million in 2018, and has now reached 35 million in 2025, proving the lasting trust of Indian customers.

The launch of the electric Activa e: brought a new chapter in its story, giving riders more choice without losing the brand’s focus on performance and comfort.
