Preparations to surround the Hyundai Creta from two sides: Tata and Maruti will bring these cars

People are liking this SUV a lot due to its modern design, premium interior, amazing features, different engine options, and great driving experience. Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors are already competing in the mid-size SUV segment through their SUVs like Grand Vitara and Curvv, but despite this, Creta remains the best-selling SUV in this segment.

Now both the companies are preparing to launch their new SUVs to give tough competition to Creta. According to media reports, Maruti is going to launch the new Escudo, and Tata is going to launch the new Sierra.

Tata Ciara

The new Ciara is expected to hit the market by October 2025. The company is going to have a multi-engine option for this SUV so that it can reach more and more customers. This vehicle can come in 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L diesel engines. Apart from this, an electric version can also come.

Tata Ciara Features

Talking about the features of the new Tata Ciara, it can have advanced features. Like the Harrier EV, it will have features like a 540-degree camera view, wireless phone charger, inbuilt dashcam, ventilated and electric front seat, premium sound system, panoramic sunroof, head-up display (HUD), and level-2 ADAS.

Maruti Escudo

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed the launch of a new SUV on 3 September 2025. Its official name has not been revealed yet, but at present it is being called Escudo. This SUV will be like the Grand Vitara. That is, its platform, engine, design, and many features will be similar to Vitara. This will be Maruti's first SUV to get Level-2 ADAS and Dolby Atmos sound technology.

It will have engine options like petrol, hybrid, and CNG. The special thing is that in the CNG version, the gas tank will be given under the car instead of in the boot space so that the luggage space will not be reduced.
