New Delhi: Triumph Motorcycles has launched its new Bonneville T4 in India. Priced at ₹2.54 lakh (Delhi), ex-showroom, the bike is positioned below the Bonneville T40, offering a more affordable entry into Triumph's Bonneville family. The bike features a classic design and several advanced features. In India, it will compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350.
The Bonneville T4's overall design and stance are similar to the Bonneville T40, however, it features some cosmetic changes and different equipment. The bike will be available in three color options: Phantom Black, Carnival Red, and Competition Green. Triumph has used a different style of branding on the T4.
The biggest difference between the Bonneville T4 and T40 is the instrument console. The T40 features a TFT screen, while the T4 features a color LCD display. However, despite the smaller screen, the bike offers Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.
Riders can access features like calls and contacts from controls on the handlebars. The bike also features full-LED lighting, daytime running lights (DRLs), and an emergency deceleration warning system.
The Triumph Bonneville T4 is powered by a 350cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It's part of Triumph's TR-Series engine family. The company has employed a new cylinder head and specific engine tuning, which is claimed to deliver improved torque at lower RPMs and a comfortable ride.
This engine produces 28.2 bhp and 31 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with three riding modes: Road, Rain, and Eco. These modes alter throttle response, traction control, and ABS.
The bike features a new frame, telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking is handled by front disc brakes with twin-piston calipers. Dual-channel ABS is standard.
Priced at ₹2.54 lakh, the Bonneville T4 is positioned below the T40. Online bookings will open on October 7, 2026, at 4:30 pm. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in the second week of January 2027.
