New Delhi: Yamaha has increased the prices of many of its bikes and scooters in May 2026. After the implementation of the new prices, now customers will have to pay more than before to buy the company's popular models. This time the company has increased the prices in both sports bike and scooter segments.
Yamaha has increased the prices of many models including MT-15 V2, R15 series, FZ-X, Aerox 155 and RayZR 125. The amount of increase has also been kept different according to different variants.
The price of MT-15 V2 has been increased by about Rs 3,800. Some variants of the R15 series have now become costlier by around Rs 4,900. The new prices have been implemented at dealerships across the country.
The company has also changed the prices of its scooters. Some variants of Aerox 155, RayZR 125 and Fascino 125 will now be available at higher prices. This may also affect the budget of customers buying scooters.
According to experts related to the auto sector, the cost of raw materials and manufacturing is continuously increasing. Increasing transport and supply expenses are also affecting companies. For this reason many companies are increasing the prices of their models.
Despite the new prices, the company has not made any major changes in any model. The engine, design and features have remained the same. That means customers will now buy the same model at a higher price.
The continuously increasing prices may especially affect the youth and budget segment customers. EMI expenses may also increase with increase in on-road prices.
Auto industry experts believe that if costs continue to rise like this, other companies may also increase prices in the coming months. At present Yamaha has implemented the new prices from May 2026.
