Chaos at Patliputra Station: Students Vandalise Train, Stone Pelting Leaves Several Cops Injured

Patna: Thousands of candidates going to appear for the recruitment examination of Bihar Police Prohibition Department protested fiercely at Patliputra railway station on Sunday. Angered by the shortage of trains and late arrival of many trains, students blocked the railway track. The situation became so bad that the police had to open fire in the air to control the crowd. During this time many policemen were injured in stone pelting.

The recruitment examination of the Prohibition Department was to be conducted in two shifts. A large number of candidates started reaching the station since night itself to appear in the examination.
