New Delhi: Gold prices are going up and down due to the war between the US and Iran. This is making people unsure about what will happen in the markets around the world. Gold prices went up by 0.86 per cent in a week because the US economy is not doing well as people thought it would. This means the US Federal Reserve might not change the interest rates.
What is the gold price on the MCX?
There was an increase in gold prices on the MCX for the month of October by 0.73 per cent and it settled at Rs 154,590. There was also an increase in the price of silver on the MCX for the month of September by 0.15 per cent and it settled at Rs 2,36,272 per kilogram.
Gold prices of 10 grams of 24-carat gold increased and stood at Rs 1,49,621 compared to Monday, when it was Rs 1,42,863. The reason for the increase in the gold and silver prices is that there is a huge fluctuation in the price of oil, US dollars are weaker and there are issues in the Middle East.
