New Delhi: CBSE had decided to give an extension for a day. The extension had been granted for the students who applied for re-evaluation of class 12th, CBSE.
Initially the last date was June 6. Students may apply by the midnight of the date. Board had said, keeping the student's interest in mind, the decision had been taken.
As per CBSE, the revised date is now June 7, as the extension of one day had been offered, considering the interest of the students.
As of now, more than 56,000 students registered for the re-evaluation process. Noting this, the earlier announced date of June 1. But due to technical glitches, the date re-announced for June 2.
As the website portal was opened, the website was tried to breach by anti-social elements. Within a short span of time of 2 minutes, more than 15 lakhs hits had been recorded. The website was attacked by 'Denial of Service'. Along with that, more than a lakh files were tried to breach and access.
CBSE advised students that the revised schedule should be considered now.
