New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the final answer of session 2 of JEE Main 2026. With this, now the eyes of the students are fixed on the result, which will be declared soon on the official website. The final answer key has been released after examining all the objections that were raised on the provisional answer key.

Can the result come anytime now?

Usually one does not have to wait long after the final answer is released. In such a situation, it is believed that NTA can release the result soon. Many students are constantly checking the website because the date has not been announced in advance.

Is any change possible now?

Now no changes are possible after the final answer key. The agency has already made it clear that this answer will be considered final. That means the result that comes now will be final and further process will proceed on the basis of that.

How to estimate the score?

Students can calculate their rough score by combining their answers. You get 4 marks for the correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for the wrong answer. The questions that have been omitted have no impact. From this we can get a rough idea of what the result will be like.

What is the rule for those giving both sessions?

For students who appeared in both the sessions, their better score will be considered. That means the session in which more marks are obtained will be considered as the final score. NTA will show both the scores and also the best score.

Will the picture of JEE Advanced also be clear?

Along with the result, it will also be known which students have qualified for JEE Advanced 2026. Top ranked candidates will proceed to the next stage.

Will the ranking system remain the same?

The rank will be made on the basis of NTA score only, in which the paper level of different shifts is balanced. This maintains equality for all students, whether the paper is easy or difficult.

What should students do now?

At this time it is most important that students not take any decision in haste. Remain calm till the result comes and only then do further preparation, be it advanced or counseling.
