'Karn' of Mahabharat, Actor Pankaj Dheer Passes Away After Battling Cancer 

Actor Pankaj Dheer Passes Away: Pankaj Dheer, who played the role of 'Karn' in BR Chopra's Mahabharat passed away. If reports are to be believed, the actor was battling with cancer. 

The official statement from CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association), confirming the news of Dheer's death, read, "With profound grief and deep sorrow, we inform you of the passing away of our Trust’s erstwhile Chairman and CINTAA’s former Hon. General Secretary, Shri Pankaj Dheer ji, on 15th October 2025. The cremation will be held today at 4:30 p.m Next to Pawan Hans, Vile Parle(W) Mumbai.''

Popular Works of Actor Pankaj Dheer

Pankaj was known for acting in several popular films films namely 'Sanam Bewafa' and 'Baadshah'. Apart from it, he is also remembered for his performance in TV shows such as 'Chandrakanta' and 'Sasural Simar Ka'.

The veteran actor is survived by his wife, Anita Dheer, and a son, actor Nikitin Dheer.
