Aryan Khan’s 'The Ba***ds of Bollywood' First Look Out – Promises Love, Action, and a Nod to SRK’s ‘Mohabbatein

The first look at Aryan Khan’s debut series, The Ba**ds of Bollywood, has finally been released. Aryan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, shared the much-talked-about teaser after Netflix made a big announcement about it on Saturday. The series offers a mix of love, rivalry, and drama, all set around the world of cinema.

A twist on SRK’s 'Mohabbatein'

The teaser begins with the famous violin tune from Shah Rukh Khan’s film Mohabbatein, along with his well-known dialogue, “Ek Ladki Thi Deewani Si…” Soon after, Aryan changes the mood with his narration, giving a darker end to the usual Bollywood love story. Calling it a grand climax, Aryan also hints that his show will carry the same larger-than-life energy. The teaser then shows Lakshya and Sahher Bambba in romantic moments before moving into action-packed visuals.

Love, glamour, and action

Viewers get to see fights, intense drama, and even stylish shots of glitz and glamour. In one of the striking scenes, Lakshya is shown stopping a bullet with his teeth. Aryan appears in the teaser and says, “Bollywood – jisse aapne saalon se pyaar bhi kiya aur vaar bhi kiya, main bhi wahi karunga: bohot saara pyaar… aur thoda sa vaar. This line makes it clear that the series will be both a tribute and a roast of the film industry.

Netflix teaser reveal

Aryan Khan has both written and directed the series. Netflix released the teaser on Sunday and announced that a preview will be out on August 20. Netflix shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Zyaada hogaya? Aadat daal lo. The Ba***ds of Bollywood Preview will be out on August 20.” The post created excitement among fans, making Aryan’s project one of the most awaited debuts of the year.

Shah Rukh Khan joins the fun

Earlier this year, Shah Rukh Khan had revealed Aryan’s debut series during a Netflix event. Produced under Red Chillies Entertainment, the title reveal video showed SRK performing for the camera while Aryan, in his director’s role, kept interrupting him. Annoyed by this, SRK shouted at both Aryan and the crew. The video ended on a comic note when Aryan admitted he forgot to record the scene. The makers have not confirmed the release date of the series yet.
